Introduction of Holy Dham
A pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Sidhbali Dham is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages of our times. The temple of Shri Sidhbali Dham situated at the town of Kotdwar in the district of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand lies around 210 km away from Delhi whereas it lies 76 km distant from Haridwar if one takes a route via Nazibabad.
The temple has in its surroundings, the rushing river of Khoh and the beautiful range of mountains. The temple had once got broken nearly one third of it because of a land slide which happened some years ago. It had survived this destruction miraculously and thus strengthening the faith of the people there. At present it stands on the top of town just like the icon of city. People believe that Hanumanji had himself given support to the structure of the temple on his shoulders.
Darshans are open round the clock throughout the year.
When the Shri Sidhbali Dham Shrine Board (commonly called Shrine Board) was formed, the management of the Shrine and regulation of the Yatra has been vested in the Board. The Board has undertaken a number of developmental activities aimed at making the Darshan a comfortable and satisfying experience for the devotees. The Board continues to reinvest the offerings and donations received in carying out improvements in various kinds of Yatri facilities.
